What is Deodorant Detox?

If you are switching from antiperspirant to a natural deodorant, there will be a transition period and the smell can be more intense for 2-4 weeks.
- Antiperspirants ussually has aluminum salt which clogs the pores and prevens skin from sweating, so when you start using a natural deodorant, you'll start sweating more because it doesn't clog pores.
- If the odor increases, it may be due to bacteria that change after you stop using the antiperspirant. Sweat alone does not cause odor, it is caused by bacteria on the skin that feed on sweat.
- Do not get discouraged and patiently use GENTLE DAY® natural deodorant until the smell starts to disappear. Carry deodorant with you and apply it whenever you feel an unpleasant smell. Let the body get used to the novelty.
